The FFA National Futsal Championships were held in Canberra, January 2018. The U16 boys, led by coach Harry Amiridis, were crowned National Futsal Champions. In front of a healthy crowd, Victoria scored twice in the second half to win the game 2-0 against NSW. “The atmosphere was amazing. The Vics were in fine voice and got behind us to spur us on.”

The boys played exceptional futsal throughout the tournament scoring 27 goals and conceding 8 goals in 6 matches. The win was coach Harry’s second National title, previously winning the National Futsal Championship in 2016 with the U13 boys.
